Aira, is to launch two new energy tariffs powered by Octopus Energy that will significantly reduce energy costs for Aira Heat Pump customers, with further energy cost savings for those with solar panels.

The Government has ambitious heat pump targets and Aira plans to serve 1M homes across the UK with clean energy-tech solutions over the next decade. From today, Aira is paving the way for households with an Aira Heat Pump to save up to 33% on their energy costs through the Aira Zero tariff and up to 44% on energy costs when adding solar panels and Aira Solar Export tariff.

Aira Zero: the intelligent choice for Aira Heat Pump customers who are looking to maximise energy cost savings and completely reduce CO2 emissions. Aira Zero can save a typical British household1 up to £500 on energy bills each year, with eight hours of the day at a 51% discounted rate compared to the local day rate.

Aira Solar Export: created for homes with Aira Heat Pumps, Aira Zero and solar panels, this tariff can save customers a total of up to £1,245 on their yearly energy bills, and is available on a fixed or flex rates:

  • Fixed: helps homes automatically benefit from selling back surplus electricity, at a fixed rate of 15p/kWh for every unit that is exported back to the grid.
  • Flex: customers can sell surplus solar powered electricity back to the grid when wholesale prices are high for even greater savings.

Aira Zero and Aira Solar Export are the intelligent choice for British households looking to save on energy costs and eradicate home heating CO2 emissions.

Aira Intelligence’s native integration with the Aira Zero tariff ensures the Aira Heat Pump preheats when energy prices are low and conserves energy when prices are high. The optimisation is automatically turned on once a household switches to the Aira Zero tariff.
