Haier is pleased to announce that Graham Hendra, the renowned industry personality, author and heat pump champion has joined Haier as European Heat Pump Development Officer.

He joins at an exciting time for Haier as their latest R290 A2W range is receiving rave reviews, and his role is to lead the development of range expansions and future generations of product.

Bob Cowlard CEO Haier HVAC solutions stated: “It’s great to have Graham on board, we have known each other from opposite sides of the business table for years, so it will be nice to work with him. It’s also great timing as he can dive straight in at ISH in Frankfurt, where we are exhibiting, to meet our European customers and understand their needs.”

Graham has been involved with air conditioning and heat pumps since 1990. During this period, he has worked for several major manufacturers including Daikin, LG and Samsung in predominantly technical roles.

In 2010 he started a company from scratch distributing Air to water heat pumps, and he quite literally wrote the book (Videos and the training) on Samsung air to water heat pump systems.

Graham is a believer in ‘trying before you buy’, he has heated his 100-year-old house for the last 15 years with a series of seven heat pumps trying out different brands, configurations, and setups to disprove many of the myths about this simple technology. You can follow his experiments on linked in and in his bestselling heat pump books on Amazon.

Graham has spent the last 15 years moaning about how the technology needs solid technical and design support and there is an urgent requirement to simplify the technology to make it more accessible to the heating industry. He’s finally put his money where his mouth is and has joined Haier’s development team to help make this dream into a reality. He believes he can help make heat pumps better for the end user and the installer, as he leads the development of the future Haier A2W ranges for Europe.
