British Gas recently announced it would refund heat pumps in homes if they did not heat the home as well as a traditional boiler. Mark McManus, Managing Director at STIEBEL ELTRON UK shares his thoughts.
Mark said: “British Gas’ announcement shows real confidence in the heat pump market. They’re putting their money where their mouth is and saying this technology works, this is the way forward.
“It shows that for homeowners installing a heat pump, they will be equipped with a fully-functioning, renewable energy heating system that will warm the home just as well as a traditional gas boiler.
