"Why TOTY? Trades get a lot of bad press and I feel passionately that we should highlight all the great, new people in our industry. We should all be keen to grow the expertise available and push trainees to be better than before. Awards like TOTY need to become bigger and bigger to ensure we have more people entering to push the skill levels up and up. We should all be very honoured to be a part of it and encourage as many trainees as possible to enter the industry."
