Carel's plan to double the size of its production plant in the US has been marked by a ground-breaking ceremony at the Manheim site. The project, which will more than double the area devoted to production from the current 35,000 to 70,000 square feet, is part of a global expansion strategy involving the US, Europe and China. |
Francesco Nalini, the group’s chief executive officer, said: "The extension of the plant of Manheim follows the implementation, in the same plant, of the first US programmable controller production line, completed last summer, and shows the interest of the group to the North American market. We expect this country to represent a significant accelerator for Carel's growth, which will be based on innovation, energy efficiency and customer care.”
