Five Cold Chain Technology Briefs originally published in Engllish by the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) and UNEP OzonAction have now been translated into two additional languages.
As part of their co-operation to support the needs of different stakeholders in developing countries operating under the Montreal Protocol, briefs are now also available in French and Spanish.
The short publications include an in-depth overview of the sector, the technologies used, including refrigerant options, as well as the future prospects and challenges.
They summarise the key elements of the main sub-sectors of the cold chain and provide insight on the various segments, technology trends and issues related to each link of this essential chain.
The Cold Chain Technology Briefs cover:
- Commercial, Professional and Domestic Refrigeration
- Cold Storage and Refrigerated Warehouse
- Refrigeration in Food Production and Processing
- Fishing Vessel Application
- Transport Refrigeration
They are free to download in all three languages from the IIR website.
