Emerson Climate Technologies has launched a remote refrigeration monitoring system which helps engineers run their cooling systems more efficiently.
The so-called 'ZX Cloud monitoring system' works the company's Copeland EazyCool ZX refrigeration units and provides real-time operational information about the systems. Engineers can easily monitor the efficiency of refrigeration units with the system, including cycling frequency, downtime, and variable impacts such as weather, time of day and load.
Recent F-Gas legislation insists that engineers document system services including how much refrigerant is used to charge each unit. The ZX Cloud monitoring system includes a 'digital logbook' to help engineers comply with F-Gas regulations.
The monitoring system comes pre-wired in new ZX refrigeration units, which will save time when commissioning them.
