Panasonic has completed the purchase of Polish condensing unit manufacturer Area Cooling Solutions. The Wroclaw-based business will operate as Panasonic Cold Chain Poland (Panasonic CCS).
Panasonic CCS will continue the production of iCOOL and other refrigeration condensing units, ensuring a steady supply of spare parts for these products. The compressor and component distribution business will continue to be independently managed by the existing operation in Warsaw, Poland.
The acquisition of Area Cooling Solutions is said to mark a significant milestone in Panasonic’s commitment to expanding its range of environmentally friendly products, including R744 (CO₂) and inverter condensing units and enhancing capabilities in the commercial refrigeration sector.
