LU-VE Group/Spirotech (Bhiwadi, India) has received the Sustainability Award 2019 in the Global Supplier Award Programme of Trane Technologies.
The group's plant, located in the Rajasthan region, has been recognised for its use of natural light, for the reduction of water consumption and the collection of rainwater for gardening, as well as for the installation of solar panels on the roof of the new plant and for the new automated machines that allow significant energy savings.
Subramaniam Srinivasan, Managing Director of Spirotech, accepted the award from Trane's Supplier Sustainability Manager, Emily Vesling, during a virtual ceremony.
Having set very ambitious goals for 2030, Emily Vesling declared herself "proud to have Spirotech and LU-VE Group as partners in Trane’s sustainability programmes" and announced that they aim to reduce total energy consumption by 10 % and emissions by one billion tons of CO2 through the products they will sell to their customers.
