World Refrigeration Day founder Steve Gill has been appointed chair of ASHRAE's Refrigeration Technology Committee for Comfort, Process, and Cold Chain.
Gill has been a member of ASHRAE since 2000, and is a past-president of ASHRAE’s UK Midland Chapter. He takes over from Yunho Hwang, ASHRAE Fellow and research professor at the University of Maryland’s Center for Environmental Energy Engineering.
He said: "It is a great honour to be chair of this important committee. It is a great team made up of international experts in their field and I am looking forward to the role and the challenges it brings.''
