Arbon announced as keynote speaker for IOR Annual Conference

Ian Arbon has been announced as a keynote speaker for the Institute Of Refrigeration Annual Conference – the Journey to Net Zero Heating and Cooling – Beyond Refrigeration 2021, which will take place on 21 and 22 April 2021.

The presentation will relate to the Energy Hierarchy and highlight the need to question why is energy used and how energy demand can be reduced.

Arbon is a Fellow of IMechE - as a Founder and past Chair of its Energy, Environment & Sustainability Group, he has a long history of spearheading the Institution’s work in sustainable development.

The event will take place online and feature a programme packed with papers that demonstrate how the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump sector is responding to the challenge of net zero heating and cooling.

Attendees to the conference will be able to sample keynote papers from experts in environmental policy development and global heating and cooling initiatives, and workshops on leakage reduction and low GWP refrigerant options. The themes covered during the two days will include:
