The winners of the 2024 BCIA Awards were honoured at a dinner and ceremony held in Birmingham.
First victory of the night went to Global Associates, who won the Building Controls and BEMS Installer of the Year award. Luke Clarehugh of Schneider Electric and Aarushi Bhargava of Crown House Technologies won awards for Engineer of the Year and Young Engineer of the Year, respectively.
Anya Turner of Schneider Electric took home the award for Apprentice of the Year, while the Energy Management Award went to Econowise Drives & Controls for its work on Savills Rise Energy Optimisation Project. The Best Service and Maintenance Provider award was this year won by 3MSe.
The Technical Innovation of the Year – Products award was taken home by Siemens Building Products, while Global Associates won the Technical Innovation of the Year – Projects award. For their dedication to improving the building controls workforce through training and development, One Sightsolutions won the Contribution to Training award.
Finally, the Outstanding Contribution Award was presented to Lee Coffin of UK Electric for his outstanding service to the building controls sector.
The event was hosted by comedian Ellie Taylor, while funds raised on the night will got to Carers UK, the chosen charity of new BCIA President Stacey Lucas.
