Cold storage and blast freezer rental provider Blue Cube has invested in seven new all-electric Carrier Transicold HE19 temperature-controlled systems.
Three of the systems have been fitted to new portable cold stores, with the remaining four replacing current systems mounted to existing Blue Cube cold storage units. All seven store a wide variety of palletised products, with typical loads including everything from food and drink products to highly temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals.
Alan Hunt, Managing Director, Blue Cube, says: "This investment highlights our commitment to delivering unparalleled reliability and energy efficiency with our portable cold storage solutions. These latest-generation Carrier units were selected because they enhance the quality of our services and provide significant benefits to our customers by ensuring their temperature-sensitive goods are treated with utmost precision and care.
“We put the Vector HE19 through a detailed competitive trial programme before making this choice and were hugely impressed with its speed of temperature pull down, reduced energy consumption and low noise levels. The performance output aligns with our targets to reduce the environmental impact of our products and services, therefore helping us and our customers contribute to a greener future."
