 | Cross Rental Services Group has completed the acquisition of Swegon Hire UK. Cross Rental Services provides HVAC hire equipment to clients including FMs, manufacturing, logistics and warehousing, local government including the NHS, retail, and M&E contractors. |
It also includes a wider group of companies covering the UK and Ireland. Along with its heating and cooling hire business, it provides commercial refrigeration and catering hire to FMCG retailers, pharmaceutical, warehouse and logistics companies.
Swegon Hire has a 30-year heritage in the UK HVAC industry and is known for supplying temporary cooling and heating solutions, particularly the manufacturing, food & beverage and defence industries. The wider Swegon UK business will continue to trade as usual and maintain its focus on indoor environmental quality by providing a complete offering in HVAC, including ventilation, heating and cooling, as well as system solutions.
Cross Rental Services says the acquisition enables the two businesses to bring together their highly skilled teams, an increased hire fleet profile, and an improved support infrastructure designed to deliver first class customer service.

The Swegon Hire brand and operating name will be phased out and the business will trade under the Cross Rental Services brand.
