Daikin, alongside Centrica, SSE Energy Solutions and Sustainable Building Services, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority to help create a greener, more secure future for the region.

The Partnership aims to support the delivery of high quality jobs and skills training, warmer and more affordable homes, and the roll-out of more sustainable power, to accelerate the region’s transition to Net Zero by 2038.

Daikin will launch at least three Sustainable Home Centres across West Yorkshire. These will allow residents and businesses to learn more about green technologies that could reduce their energy consumption and bills. They will also train installers, giving them the skills that they need to install heat pumps.
