Cambridgeshire engineering company HUTTie says its air conditioning sales have more than doubled this year. The firm recruited a specialist AC team during last year’s sustained hot spell and year-on-year sales are said to have increased by over 125% to the end of August. HUTTie recently became certified installers of Daikin equipment. |
James Hutt, who founded the business in 2007, said: “In July Cambridge recorded the UK’s highest ever temperature so we’re pleased to have played a part in keeping people cool and safe.”
Darren Lovelock, director of housing with building services specialist Briggs & Forrester Living, said: “We worked with HUTTie for the first time on the design and contract price of air conditioning on our Darwin Green development. They stepped up, arranged for the AC units to arrive on site on a specific date and installed them the very same day.”
