A packed house gathered at Manchester’s Midland Hotel to salute the industry’s outstanding people, projects and products at the 2025 National Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Heat Pump Awards.
Organised by the ACR Journal and Heat Pumps Today, the event was hosted by Publisher Juliet Loiselle and comedian Jay McGee in front of a sold-out crowd from across the sector.
BITZER UK Managing Director and former IOR President Kevin Glass was chosen as Phil Creaney’s ACR Champion in recognition of his contribution to the industry, while the Heat Pump Association’s first Chief Executive, Charlotte Lee, was named RACHP Woman of the Year.
Norfolk-based R A Brown Heating Services picked up two awards as it was named Heat Pump Installer of the Year and also claimed top billing in the Domestic Air Source Project category for the retrofit of a Victorian townhouse in Norwich.
Fujitsu’s J-VS Mini VRF was voted ACR Product of the Year, while the A2L Industrial Monobloc Range from Hubbard Products was named Refrigeration Product of the Year.
WAVE was recognised in the Air Conditioning Project category for underfloor heating and cooling at Aldi in Goole, with Beijer Ref’s FridgeHUB delivering the outstanding Refrigeration Project with a CO2 solution for the Wilkins jam factory.
