Learn about Heating and Cooling Networks in Newcastle

SIRACH (Sustainable Innovation in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Network) is holding its next event in Newcastle on 1st October 2015 in Newcastle, focusing on opportunities, challenges and new solutions offered by heating and cooling networks.
The event includes the latest research from Newcastle University on heating and cooling networks, as well as why district heating matters by Sheffield University.  Warwick University will explain how their new heating network operates, including explanations on their novel innovations and ORC.  

In addition, Newcastle City Council will share their district energy plans for the City and Star Refrigeration will talk about developments of a 90°C 13MW heat pump retrofitted to district heating which provides a 67% cost saving, 100% carbon saving and free cooling. 

Also included, Professor Reinhard Radermacher of the University of Maryland  will deliver his J&E Hall Gold Medal paper “Outlook on future heat pumping and refrigeration technologies.
