Neil Roberts has joined refrigerant supplier Climalife UK as senior technical sales manager, with the Bristol-based company welcoming the addition of his experience at a "pivotal moment for the industry''.
Neil joined the refrigeration industry in 1992 when he supported Peter Dinnage, now Climalife's technical director, with the introduction of the ISCEON 9 Series range of refrigerants to the UK market. Here, Neil continued to work towards global adoption of the ISCEON 9 Series and then went on to work for the Dupont refrigerants business (later spun off as Chemours), helping to bring the Opteon Low GWP A1 and A2L refrigerants to market.
Previously technical and business development refrigerants EMEA at Chemours, he will continue to support the UK market in his new role at Bristol-based Climalife, assisting the industry through the next phase of transition to very low GWP refrigerants as well as advising on some of the other synergy products in the Climalife range.
Allan Harper, Climalife managing director, said: “We are very pleased to have Neil join the business at this pivotal moment for our industry as he brings a wealth of knowledge that will be of great assistance in helping our customers and the industry with the changing refrigerant landscape.”
