Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions has been certified by Great Place To Work for 2024-2025.

As part of the certification process, a survey showed that 86% of Panasonic employees ranked the company as a great place to work, compared to 54% at a typical UK company. The survey noted the strong feedback culture, experiential growth opportunities, training and career development initiatives to drive holistic development as particular strengths for the company.

"Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience," says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work. She emphasises that Certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Panasonic stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees."

“We are delighted to achieve Great Place to Work status, a reflection of our long-standing commitment to creating a positive and supportive work environment,” said Jose Manuel Alves, Regional Director for the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands. “This recognition is testament to the invaluable contributions which our incredible team continues to dedicate, for which we are immensely proud and grateful.”

The Panasonic training initiatives available to all employees encompass management philosophy, culture, business and leadership workshops. Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions is also committed to support the emerging talent through their various intakes such as industrial placements, apprentices, student exchange programmes and work placement programmes.

As a direct result of these commitments, Panasonic has built an environment that 97% of employees felt welcomed into when they joined. Prioritising fair treatment amongst employees, 98% of employees feel physically safe at work, 98% of employees feel treated fairly regardless of race, and 98% of employees feel they are treated fairly regardless of sexual orientation.

Panasonic also offers continued support for ex-military personnel, offering them a bespoke up to 12 month all expenses paid training package. This commitment was recently recognised when Panasonic reached the finals of the Employer of the Year category at the British Ex-Forces Business Awards 2024.
