This year's IOR Scotland Annual Dinner is the latest industry event to be hit by the Covid-19 situation.
The sold-out dinner was scheduled for Glasgow's Crowne Plaza Hotel on October 22 but will now be next held in November next year.
IOR Scotland said: "This is not a post any of us wanted to put out but as many of you will know due to the current climate and regulations, along with having a duty of care to all our guests, we have taken the decision to postpone the Annual Dinner.
"We are working our way through the bookings and about 95% have transferred to our new date and its looking like a sell-out already. The waiting list has been contacted and cancelled tickets have been snapped up already.''
The next dinner will be held on November 18, 2021. For the waiting list please contact either Julie Murray or Lizzie Dunlop.
