Samsung continues to expand its UK team by appointment of two new starters in the technical support team.
Brian Parsons has been appointed as a Pre Sales Support Engineer and Paul Powell as a Technical Support Engineer to Samsung's Climate Solutions team. The past 12 months have seen the Climate Solutions team continually expand in all business areas, including sales, marketing, technical support and management.
Brian has been in the air conditioning industry for 23 years, starting at 18 as an apprentice. He joins Samsung from Easy Air Conditioning Ltd, a distributor for Samsung’s range of air conditioning products, his previous role being a Senior Applications Engineer. Brian will be working with the team to help with design work and quotations.
Commenting on his move to Samsung, Brian said; “I’m looking forward to broadening my knowledge of the Samsung range, especially on the wet heating systems and chiller products. I’m hoping to work within the Mansfield Technical Centre alongside the sales team to help give clients a thorough understanding of the full Samsung line-up.”
Also joining Samsung’s established team is Paul Powell, a newly appointed Technical Support Engineer. Paul has been in the industry for 35 years and has previously worked at York, but has spent the last 16 years running his own business. His new role will see him support the product range within the Climate Solutions division.
Excited to join the team, Paul comments; “I’m really looking forward to the new challenges that the role will give me, but in particular, working with the air source heat pumps and on future air source projects.”
Speaking on the latest appointments, Paul Price, Technical & Service Manager added, “With their experience in the industry it’s great to have both Paul and Brian join the team. The last 12 months have seen the team grow and diversify and we’re proud of the excellent range of skills and knowledge across all of our divisions.”
