Increased storage space at Samsung Climate Solutions' new UK warehouse in Leicester has increased inbound and outbound capacity by 400% compared to previous facilities. The new facility, managed by XPO logistics, spans 150,000 sqft, of which Samsung occupy 50%.
The investment is said to allow increased service to a growing heat pump market and the growth of the climate solutions business in the UK.
Steve Fleming, head of climate solutions UK & Ireland, commented: "Our team has grown from 19 when I joined to 67 by the end of this year in 2023. We want to provide the best end-to-end customer service possible to match our ambitious growth plan.
