As part of its commitment to supporting charities and good causes near its home of King’s Lynn, Williams Refrigeration recently donated £350 to a local wildlife centre.

Since opening in 1992 the RSPCA's east Winch Wildlife Centre Centre has cared for thousands of injured, sick and orphaned animals each year. In 2024 it cared for 3,100 animals, including 1,085 hedgehogs and 150 seals. East Winch is currently the largest seal rehabilitation sanctuary in the UK.

As part of Williams’ work with good causes, every year its employees select a charity to support.  They then hold fundraising events throughout the year. East Winch was chosen as 2024’s charity and the £350 was presented to Alice Puchalka, Deputy Manager at RSPCA East Winch, by Williams’ HR Manager, Georgina Clark.

For 2025, the company’s employees have chosen to support Macmillan Cancer Support for its work in the local area. However, Williams will continue to support East Winch with a donation box at their headquarters, where staff will be able to donate items like towels, sheets and other beddings that are always in high demand.
