Aermec has welcomed new apprentice Marshal Packer, who has joined the service division and will work alongside experienced engineers whilst studying to gain a recognised HVAC qualification.
“Providing training and opportunities is very much part of Aermec’s ethos,” says Philip Atkins, service manager, Aermec UK. “Aermec is keen to support anyone who has a passion and wants to learn the HVAC trade by combining on-the-job training with day release to gain recognised qualifications and build a career in what is an exciting and fast-moving industry.”
Marshal has already spent time at Aermec’s factory in Bevilacqua for initial training and is initially studying for a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning at Eastleigh College in Hampshire. On completion, Marshal plans to embark on additional training, further expanding his knowledge and skills.
“Apprentices enable Aermec to train people with the precise skills we need, and the company is investing in the future of the business as well as the HVAC industry. We are delighted to be supporting Marshal on his Aermec journey,” adds Atkins.
