Tom Fitzsimons has retired from Pump House
Tom Fitzsimons has retired after 30 years in the AC and refrigeration industry and nearly 13 years working with condensate pump and ancillary product specialist Pump House.
He came into the industry in the early 1990s as Product Manager with BAR Refrigeration in Rotherham, selling RSI Recovery machines via RAC wholesalers. In 1994, he joined ITE Tools as the UK Sales and Product Manager, selling a wide range of RAC tools and service equipment.
In 2007, Tom joined American HVAC distributor and manufacturer DiversiTech as UK Product Manager working closely with its then UK distribution partner, Pump House, to grow sales in the UK. Following the acquisition of Pump House by DiversiTech in 2016, he became part of the Pump House team as a Sales Manager with the Flexi Roof Support Division and, most recently, as an Area Sales Manager.
Dave Bass, Managing Director of Pump House, said: “I have known Tom since the early days when he would visit me at Controls Center in Birmingham to help sell the ITE range with great success. Tom has always had time for people and has been a great advocate in this industry helping to train and increase people’s product knowledge and awareness in everything he has sold.
“It has been a pleasure working alongside Tom over the last 13 years and I wish him a long, happy and healthy retirement.’’
Tom says he plans to travel with wife Jane and spend more time with his grandchildren.
