Nate-James Bray with the customised recovery machine
A lockdown project for the 11-year-old son of Bradley Bray, Director of air conditioning and refrigeration distributor Evomart, is aiming to raise much-needed funds for a children’s charity.
Nate-James Bray used his artistic skills to customise a CPS Products recovery machine at Evomart in Aldermaston, near Reading, and photographs of the design on social media created such interest that it was decided to raffle the unit in aid of Naomi House and Jacks Place hospices in Winchester, Hampshire.
Naomi House & Jacksplace provides a homely environment for children and young adults with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. They provide individualised specialist care and respite for the whole family and it costs £9 million per year to keep them open.
The raffle – launched today (August 25) – will run for two weeks, with the winning ticket to be picked at random by a member of staff at Naomi House.
Tickets are £10, and can purchased via the Evomart website. Anyone can donate using this method, even if they don't need a recovery machine! Simply add REMOVE to the notes on the order form for donation only.
