Kooltech is supporting projects including new native woodlands in the Yorkshire Dales
Distributor Kooltech has fully offset its carbon footprint to become a certified carbon neutral business.
Working with Carbon Neutral Britain, Kooltech has invested in woodland projects around the world and within the UK to remove CO² from the atmosphere.
The company’s carbon footprint has been calculated following the ISO 14064 and the GHG Emissions Protocol Accounting Standard, and includes direct emissions from delivery vehicles, indirect emissions such as electricity and gas usage, staff working from home, business travel, staff commuting and waste.
Kooltech says the process will help it manage emissions for the present and the future, adding: “These are the first steps and we aim to reduce our emissions wherever possible and not just offset.’’
