Airflow Developments says its new Susurro ceiling-mounted heat recovery unit has been designed to provide continuous decentralised ventilation for both office and educational environments.
With an aluminium cross counter flow heat exchanger, the unit recovers up to 90% of otherwise wasted heat. In accordance with the ErP Ecodesign Directive, Susurro features a 100% summer bypass facility to prevent heat recovery from taking place in hot weather - reducing the risk of overheating. Its capillary tube system at the air outlet ensures that fresh air is supplied into the room near the ceiling. This then mixes with the ambient air before slowly descending into the room, avoiding any uncomfortable draughts for building occupants. For more information visit the Airflow website. |
