Both models incorporate an innovative alarm mode which beeps when a programmed target refrigerant charge amount is reached. The optional handpiece features a large, full color display that is easy to read, even in direct sunlight.
Though the weighing platform communicates with one smartphone or wireless handpiece at a time, it is easily paired with these devices so multiple users can have the app or a handpiece and interchange with the base, as needed. The Base model using a smartphone includes a “job log” feature to track refrigerant transferred over multiple jobs and this data can be sent using the smartphone’s e-mail. The Wey-TEK-HD is IP rated making the scale water/rain proof and comes in a handy slim line carry case. It has two year manufacturer's warranty.
